2023 Ford F-150
As you may know, the Ford F-150 is the pickup truck of choice for millions of Americans. In fact, it's the most popular and purchased pickup in the United States. Die-hard fans of this model will be pleased to know that Ford has created a powerful, modern, and highly capable Ford F-150 for 2023. The upcoming model is full of surprises, new features, advanced technology, and numerous engine options that make it a strong contender in its class.
Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2023 Ford F-150 is available in 10 trim levels: the XL, XLT, Rattler, Heritage Edition, Lariat, Tremor, King Ranch, Platinum, Raptor, and Limited. The XL is the base and least-expensive version, while the Limited is the highest and most expensive trim. All 2023 Ford F-150 models boast an aluminum body, new exterior paint colors, and an overall design that fuses modernity with some old-school design trends from the '70s and '80s, especially the Heritage Edition trim.
Engine (Power)
The upcoming 2023 Ford F-150 features multiple engine options. It all starts with the base engine available in both the XL and XLT models, a 3.3-liter TI-VCT V6 engine that provides 290 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque. Then, it's followed by the standard engine on the Lariat model (which can be an option on the first two trims), a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.
Next is the engine standard on both the King Ranch and Platinum trims (which can be an option on past trims, too), a 5.0-liter TI-VCT V8. Then, Ford offers a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 for those who want to make the Lariat model even more powerful. The Raptor trim gets a standard High Output 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6, and the King Ranch model gets a 3.4-liter PowerBoost Full Hybrid V6.
Performance
Depending on the powertrain configuration of your Ford F-150, it may hit 60 mph in 5.3 to 6.2 seconds. Sharp responses, smooth cruising, and receptive steering make this truck feel agile and powerful to drive. The Tremor model, the trim with the most off-road capability, boasts 33-inch all-terrain tires, four-wheel drive, and an upgraded suspension that helps it absorb any strong impact.
Interior
All 2023 Ford F-150 models feature a cabin made with premium materials specifically designed for people who are always on the road. The entire interior is spacious and has plenty of headroom and legroom, so tall drivers don't have to worry about comfort. Besides, you can turn the shift lever into a large, flat workplace and the front seats into a comfy place for sleeping.
Safety Features
Ford offers a suite of safety and driver-assist features for all 2023 Ford F-150 models, and the higher your trim level, the more features you'll get. For example, basic models like the XL and XLT come with standard features such as adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, active park assist, automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, and pedestrian detection. Upper trim levels come with premium safety features like a rear-facing camera system to monitor a trailer while on the go.
