A well-placed shot will be rewarded by an opening in the tree line that leads to an open green with easy access for second shots.
From anywhere on this hilly manicured greenside area, it’s tough not to putt your ball into one of three bunkers that surround all sides of this small target zone.
Maketewah Course
If you are looking for a course with more of a traditional feel, then Maketewah is the golf destination for you. The greens are large and difficult to putt on, but you can easily reach them if your ball lands on one side or another.
Maketewah also has some interesting holes that may distract and confuse players. For instance, the 14th hole requires you to hit over an old railroad tunnel! Another fun challenge at this course is trying to find all three seagulls in order to complete the round! The terrain at this course is different from most others because it meanders up hillsides instead of running level across flat ground.
Cincinnati Country Club
The Cincinnati Course is a private, 18-hole regulating length stretching a little over 6200 yards. It has a par of 71 and is located about 3 miles from the center of Cincinnati. The course features rolling hills, sloping fairways, and a variety of hazards. There are also split-rail fences lining the course. The facilities at Cincinnati Country Club include a fully equipped clubhouse with various amenities such as two restaurants, locker rooms, and a pro shop.
